Operation Loss Minimization Targeted Distributed Optimal Control of DC Microgrids

DC microgrids are growing in popularity due to their advantages terms of simplicity and energy efficiency while connecting dc sources loads. In traditional hierarchical schemes, optimization control implemented at different time scales. The loose integration lowers its makes it hard achieve real-time optimization. Even a slight disturbance can result deviations bus voltages output currents from optimal operating points. Additionally, most schemes cannot guarantee the boundedness individual voltages. Targeting these problems, distributed algorithm is presented this article for minimize operation loss (converter distribution loss) real maintain all within predefined ranges. First, Karuch–Kuhn–Tucker condition original constrained problem converted an equivalent optimality condition, which suitable design. Then, designed drive system's toward one. Convergence optima guaranteed through rigorous Lyapunov-based stability analyses. Finally, simulation studies with detailed switch-level model demonstrate merits proposed controller.
